David Byrne have been fortunate enough to bag four awards at the 3rd Exhibition of Photographic Art 2013. he scooped the FIAP Gold medal in the mono section for ‘The Copse’, ‘What Happens Next?’ won a NSFF Gold Medal (Norwegian Photographic Society) for best action and ‘Cross Road’ also won an Gold NSFF medal for best landscape. Finally ‘The Copse’ also won a NOFK medal for the Chairman’s Choice award. Altogether David had 6 photos accepted into the exhibition.
David Byrne’s image ‘Stormfront‘ has been awarded a SPF Gold Medal in the Scottish Salon in Dingwall, for best in class in the mono category along with 4 acceptances. Paul Hassell had 4 acceptances in the same competition.
David Byrne got quite a haul from the Spanish Andorran Circuit this year, ‘The Copse’ won a FIAP Gold medal, ‘Winters Light‘ a FIAP Silver medal, ‘Fire and Brimstone’ and ‘Stormfront’ were both awarded FIAP HM’s and ‘Stormfront’ was also awarded an ISA Diploma. In total he received 39 acceptances.
David Byrne has won FIAP Gold with his image ‘What Happens Next?‘ in the Bulgarian Salon Photovacation, Dave won the mono gold medal last year.
David Byrne has picked up a PSA Gold and FIAP HM for his image ‘Natures Struggle‘ in the Serbian Salon Circuit ‘Ecological Truth‘ he also won a Salon Praise certificate for ‘Making Clouds‘ along with 32 acceptances.
Peter Clarke has added to the gold haul at the Great British Small Print Circuit with a PSA ‘Best of Show‘ Gold Medal for his image ‘Winter Solitude‘ , along with 12 acceptances this image also won a Circuit Award and the Ian Ledgard Judges Medal.
For the second year on the run David Byrne has managed to bag a FIAP Gold at this salon, this time for ‘The Copse’. As well as the 23 acceptances he was also was awarded a judges medal by David Toft MPAGB; EFIAP/b for ‘What Happens Next?’
Peter Clark gained top honours in the French Salon ‘Reflet mondial de la photographie 2013‘ with his image ‘Winter Solitude‘, he also had 6 images accepted into the exhibition.
David Byrne has won a UPI Gold and 2 Salon Golds in the Serbian Salon the 1st MIROC Digital Circuit 2012. A brand new photo ‘Reach for the Sky‘ has won a UPI Gold and Salon Gold in it’s first outing and ‘Scottish Volcano?’ also gained a Salon Gold. ‘The Copse‘ managed a FSS Praise which is the Serbian Photographic Ass. version of a Commended. He gained a total of 50 acceptances in the 4 salon circuit. Peter Clark had 31 acceptances bringing the CPS total…
David Byrne has been awarded another gold medal this week with a FIAP Gold Medal for ‘Lindisfarne Boats‘ in the Slovenian Salon along with 10 acceptances.
