John Cartlidge has had success in two of the latest salons gaining acceptances in both the Solihull & Southport BPE salons.
Frome Salon
David Byrne received a Highly Commended for ‘Frontier Man’ at the British Open Salon.
Solihull Open
David Byrne, who is solely concentrating on British competitions over the last year, has received three awards in this years Solihull salon. ‘Beacon’ was Commended ‘Balestra Maneuver’ was awarded a Highly commended ‘Pub Brawler’ was awarded a Highly commended
Shrewsbury Open
‘Cross Road’ has won David Byrne a Silver PAGB Judges Medal at the BPE with ‘Riding His Luck’ gaining a PAGB HM Ribbon. Altogether he received 5 acceptances.
BPE3* Award
David Byrne has reached 101 British Open Acceptances and attained the BPE3* award
Basingstoke Open
CPS was well represented at this salon with Paul Reynolds and David Byrne both receiving awards. Paul had a commended with ‘Autumn Light Oxbow Bend‘ and 7 acceptances, while David got 6 accepted and 2 commended, ‘Fire and Brimstone‘ and ‘What Happens Next?‘

Paul Reynolds and David Byrne has had 7 and 5 acceptance in the Bebington Salon making a total of 12 for CPS
Paul Reynolds Awards
Paul has had his results back from the latest round of BPE competitions and gained the following awards Havant – 2 Acceptances Dingwall – 2 Acceptances with a Judge’s Award for “Autumn Light Oxbow Bend” and a Highly Commended for “The Look”. Guernsey – 6 Acceptances including Honours for “The Look” Bromsgrove – 2 Acceptances with a Commended for “Nigel”
5th Beyond Group BPE Exhibition
CPS success at 5th Beyond Group resulted in a Judges’ Medal and Highly Commended awards for David Byrne, ‘Riding his Luck‘ was awarded Peter Norris’ Judges Medal and ‘Lindisfarne Boats‘ was Highly Commended. Together with Paul Reynolds CPS managed a total of 10 acceptances.
