70th PAGB Newsletter Out Now

We have also been saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Fearn on Sunday June 17th June. Tom was a past president of the NCPF and, some years ago, a member of the PAGB Executive. We will publish more in a future e-news.

 

2nd Indonesia Salon of Art Photography

David Byrne has won 3 Medals at The Indonesian Salon.
The Gold FIAP was won with his image ‘Grit & Mud‘, Bronze PSA with ‘Wind Torn‘ and a Salon Silver Medal for ‘Riding his Luck‘.

Carole Mathews brought the total acceptances for CPS to 9.

Photofolio Challenge Trophy 2012

We have now had the results from the 2012 Photofolio Challenge Trophy.  Cannock put a mixed entry into the competition of Advanced and Intermediate workers to give as many people as possible the experience of having their work entered.

In the Monochrome Print Section 27 clubs entered work and Cannock were placed 9th, 29 Clubs entered Colour Prints with Cannock being placed 6th and from 32 clubs entering PDI’s Cannock were placed 10th .

The top 3 Clubs in Monochrome Prints were:- Arden, Smethwick and Stafford.  Colour Prints were Smethwick, Arden and Leek, and PDI’s Smethwick, Leek and Tamworth.

Everyone who entered work will receive a catalogue.  Individual successes have previously been shown on the Website.  Prints will returned asap.

GPDU & Robin Hood BPE Opens

Paul Reynolds and David Byrne both received ‘Judges Choice Awards’ for there pictures in the PAGB run Salon in Glasgow, with a total of 8 acceptances. Paul received his award for ‘The Printers’ whilst David got his for ‘Cross Road’. In the Robin Hood Salon they achieved a total of 6 acceptances.
