Photofolio in Flash Flood Fill of the Wrong Type!

Flash fills can be useful but not when they are of the weather variety as Smethwick Photo Society found out when they hosted tonight’s Photofolio awards tonight. In an hours sudden downpour up to a foot of water flooded the Old School House and grounds just prior to the meeting which left camera club member stranded in the street wondering whether the the night would be cancelled. But in true British Spirit of the show must go on the awards were handed out in the bar…

Cannock PS gets first MPAGB Award

David Byrne gained his MPAGB Award at the latest adjudications in Gateshead on Sunday 24th April. This is the highest award the PAGB give and only around 225 people hold the award to date. David submitted 20 prints which 6 judges awarded marks out of 5, the pass rate was 22.5 out of a possible 30,  450 in total. David scored 465 to join an very small group of photographers, including just 16 from the MCPF. Well done Dave!
