MCPF Championships

Cannock had amazing success in the print section to ensure a return to Connah’s Quay on the summer by storming to second place at leicester, we came 4th in the dpi section even though the mono images were not showing very well. Cannock’s top scoring print entries were from Guy Rogers and David Byrne respectively with an impressive 14 points each. Midphot 2013

Midphot is a Club based competition which is open to all members of the Club. Entries will close on the 6th February and the Exhibition will be held at Smethwick P.S. Cannock win Lea Hall DPI

Cannock swooped to claim victory at the DPI competition at Leah Hall in Rugeley. The staffs cup was won by a clear 7 point margin from local rivals Stafford PS, 177 to 170. Mark Davis and Guy Rogers earning top marks for their images ‘Red Squirrel Drinking‘ and ‘Newly Emerged Four Spotted Chaser‘ with Carol and Reg Mathews earning 19 points for their images ‘Old Gang Mine‘ and ‘Spurn Point‘. PAGB DPI Championships Results

Cannock’s return to the big time ended up with us finishing a fantastic joint 5th place in the national PDI championships with 246 points. We finished in 2nd place out of our regions clubs, fighting off local rivals Stafford, who didn’t make it to the final stages, drawing with Leek, while being behind only to Smethwick on 259 points.
