Four Corners

The last official meeting of the season involved the voting for the Four Corners competition. Unfortunately, we were down to three clubs this year but, nevertheless, it was a good competition and Cannock came out winners. Brevard (Florida) came second, followed by Rochester (New York), making their debut. The Best Image was a tie between Carl Mason’s ‘Is this our train, Dad’ and ‘Grandpa Elliot’ by Marc Szczesny of Brevard. PAGB awards John Cartlidge

Our Chairman, John Cartlidge , was recently awarded the prestigious APAGB award for “Meritorious Service” to photography. This is a greatly respected acknowledgement of the time and effort that he has invested over the last 30 years or so. John joined Cannock PS in 1980 and became a committee member in 1982.
