We are arranging a trip to Avery Historical Museum in Smethwick to see The Titanic Odyssey exhibition. Several thousand visitors have attended already so they have extended it till the end of June, so it must be popular. Well it’s been another successful year for Cannock PS, the committee would like to thank everyone for making it a great year, we will be meeting again on the 6th September with the guest speaker Patricia Jones. Don’t forget the practical group still goes on and there are 3 meetings in the close season, find the details on the ‘whats on‘ page. Of course the PAGB Championships are on the 14th July and that should prove to be a great day out, the results will be posted…

Danube 2012 Peter has gained another FIAP HM for his image titled ‘Bison Feeding in Thermal Area’, this time in the Nature section of the Danube 2012 salon, in total gaining 7 acceptances, David Byrne made the total acceptances for CPS in the competition 21.
More success for CPS, Peter Clark FRPS EFIAP/p APSA EPSA gained a Honorary Mention for his photo entitled ‘Bison in Snow’ and a massive 25 acceptances in Serbia. The total acceptances for CPS members in the salon was an astonishing 55, well done!
David Byrne gained another Gold FIAP medal today along with 5 acceptances. This is the first award for his picture titled ‘What Happens Next’ in the Serbian salon ‘City Life 2012’

Cannock gained 3 awards in the latest MCPF competition with Carole Mathews winning a Highly Commended with here photo entitled ‘Autumn’s Birches’ and 3 acceptances. David Byrne gained two HC’s for ‘Grit and Mud’ and ‘Riding his Luck’ and a total of 4 acceptances.
