Due to the serious health threat posed by the Coronavirus, it’s with a heavy heart that your Committee has made the decision to suspend all club meetings until further notice. The Committee is monitoring the situation and will advise the membership when it is safe to resume normal meetings. The Committee will discuss what to do about internal competitions and will advise in due course. Please monitor emails, Facebook and the website for further updates and announcements. We hope that you and your families stay fit and healthy during this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully
Richard Moorse Chairman Cannock Photographic Society

We welcome all visitors and prospective new members interested in photography, from beginners through to advanced.
Our varied Club programme consists of illustrated talks on a wide variety of subjects such as Travelogues, Landscape. Natural History etc., where you can view interesting images and perhaps pick up ideas and inspiration for your own work.
We hold internal Club competitions giving members an opportunity to show their work and receive comment and critique from visiting Judges. This is augmented by our annual exhibition which gives all members the opportunity to exhibit their work to the public.

Social events are arranged throughout the year, such as meals out and trips out to interesting locations affording the opportunity to get to know fellow members and make new friends.
We have a practical group which is a forum for sharing ideas and techniques to improve your photography including occasional workshops.
Cannock Photographic Society is very successful in National Club Competitions and has had significant successes in PAGB and MCPF competitions and exhibitions
We meet every Thursday from 7.45pm until 10.00pm (Sept – May) at Norton Canes Community Centre, Brownhills Road, Norton Canes, Cannock WS11 9SF. (click here for a location map)
