Wrekin Arts Gold

David Byrne has been awarded the PSA Gold ‘Best in Show’ Medal for his image ‘Preserving the Cod‘ in the Wrekin Arts International Salon, David was also awarded a PAGB Ribbon and the Chairman’s Medal for two others along with 8 acceptances.       David also received a UPI Ribbon in the Smethwick International for his image ‘Walking the Herd‘

Staffordshire Cup Results

Cannock (170 points) came second to Tamworth (175 points) in the Staffordshire Battle on Wednesday 11th November in a very well attended event, for the first time ever it is believed, we had 11 clubs attend the event with some superb images from all that entered. PAGB Print Cup Success with 4th place

Cannock PS came 4th in the country in the PAGB Print Trophy this year, beating local rivals Smethwick in the process for the second competition in row. In addition to that Paul Hassell won both ‘Best Colour Print’ for ‘Simple Life‘ and ‘Best Mono Print’ for ‘The Player‘ in the same competition, no mean feat! Well done Paul.
