David Byrne has successfully achieved his DPAGB Award with a total of 358 points for his 15 pictures entered
Two members have received awards at the latest Smethwick International Salon. Paul Hassell received 3 PSA Ribbons with images ‘The Player‘, ‘Racing for Home‘ and ‘Shadow Boxer‘ along with 10 acceptances. Peter Clark had all 4 of his entries accepted with a FIAP ribbon for ‘Lone Tree Hayden Valley‘.
A big congratulations to Paul Reynolds for obtaining his BPE5* rating for 300 acceptances in the BPE Exhibitions.
Steve Moore has been awarded a special commendation in the National Forestry Commission 2013 competition for his image of a deer on Cannock Chase, the full awards list available here.

Our Chairman, John Cartlidge , was recently awarded the prestigious APAGB award for “Meritorious Service” to photography. This is a greatly respected acknowledgement of the time and effort that he has invested over the last 30 years or so. John joined Cannock PS in 1980 and became a committee member in 1982.
